Concept, design, execution, GO!

This unique trailer was created as part of a Work for the Dole activity at Kangan Institute of TAFE in Docklands.

The Docklands Bike Trailer work experience program places job seekers in an activity where they can build on new skills, experience and confidence to move from welfare to work while giving back to their community. This activity is very much hands on and set in a work-like manufacturing / automotive environment which involves a group of Work for the Dole participants working as a team to meet the common goal in the concept design, building and delivering a unique Bicycle Trailer.

After completion the trailer was donated to Good Cycles. Good Cycles is a social enterprise, with all revenue from their commercial activities going towards social programs; including the bike shop, servicing centre and bike share operations.
